In the vicinity of the existing factory for engines and batteries for electric vehicles, and partially utilizing the existing infrastructure, a modern factory for fully electric light commercial vehicles on an entirely new VAN.EA platform will be established.

 The company plans to invest over 1 billion euros, with approximately 2500 people expected to be employed in the future. The construction of the plant in Jawor marks another milestone in Mercedes commercial vehicles division's journey towards completely electric mobility.
